Show-EM
Show-EM with PeppeR is a RESTful Web Service that provides a Java Web Start engine for launching PeppeR directly from a web link.
To make a long story short...
An *.jnlp file (a small, simple XML file with instructions on how to start Pepper) is downloaded to the user's PC.
Then, those instructions are processed by a Java engine (most PC systems come with one inside) which actually starts Pepper.
Furthermore, the *.jnlp file can include parameters to start Pepper with a pre-loaded hybrid model.
What can you do here ?
Start a blank Pepper desktop simply by clicking on a regular web link: Show-EM with PeppeR.
Start Pepper with a pre-loaded hybrid model of your interest (e.g.: EMDB-1044): Show-EM{DB-1044} with PeppeR.
