Dear colleagues of the Spanish and Portuguese microscopy societies,
This year the XXIV Congress of the Spanish Microscopy Society will be held jointly with the XLIV Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Microscopy, being the first joint meeting of both societies.
The two societies will get together during June 16th - 19th in Segovia, one of most beautiful Spanish cities and UNESCO world heritage, a city that contains an endless collection of roman, romanesque and gothic monuments. The congress will take place in the 15th century monastery of Santa Cruz, belonging to the IE Universidad, which offers a wonderful blend of old buildings with modern facilities.
The organizing and scientific committees are preparing not only a very interesting venue of international speakers but also some exciting social activities for the young and not so young people.
